New Trent Trentium Ultra-thin Water Resist, Dirt&Shockproof Apple iPhone 5s /5 Case (Includes 3 changeable cover : black/silver/gold)

I am going to give my impressions of this case based on a comparison of the Life Proof it is 

replacing. 

The Life Proof case is 1/4 " longer than the New Trent. It is however the same Width and thickness as

the Life Proof. The New Trent case is the same weight as the Life Proof and does not give anymore 

weight to the phone. 

The Life Proof has a strange bump on the camera/ear piece area of the phone. It causes the front plastic cover to be slight raised against the phone. The New Trent case fits snug and feels as if its part of the phone. 

The New Trent case head phone hole is more accommodating versus the Life Proof where you have to find a way to keep your adapter handy at all times. 

The New Trent charging port seems more secure and less likely to break off with extended use compared to the Life Proof with a hinged door. 

The New Trent volume control is a slightly more raised compared to the Life Proof. The Life Proof volume control has actually started to wear down a bit . 

The New Trent slide lock is not as nice as the Life Proof. The New Trent has to be opened like the charging port and you have to have long nails or small fingers to slide the lock open or closed. The Life Proof has a toggle type switch that is easier to switch between open and closed. 

My overall impression of the New Trent case is a 5 STAR review. I have replaced my Life Proof case with this new case. If New Trent fixes the slide lock door to be more of a toggle it would be the perfect replacement from the Life Proof.

My review will begin with a few personal points. I am an active outdoors man, i am involved in Scouting and camping. I am also a technology Administrator and have a bag full of gadgets and technological devices that always need a power boost at the end of the day.

My first impression of the PowerPak is the bulkiness. As I started examining and using the PowerPak I realized the benefits of the case and its design. As a Scouter and outdoors man this is a great addition to my Back Pack. I always have a GPS, Phone or other electronic device with me on a camp out that inevitably will die before the end of the trip. With the design of the casing I am not as concerned with it being drop or shuffled around in my back pack. It is sturdy, solid and well designed.

Secondly having two USB ports was a extreme Positive!! I like most electronic device owners have more than one mobile device and having two USB ports is great.

To test functionality I connected my iPad 3 and iPhone 4S to the PowerPak.

Ipad 3 started at 95% 4 LED 10 min full charge

Iphone 4s started at 85% 4 LED 15 min full charge.

My overall impression is this is a great addition to my Technology and Camping backpack!!!!!

 The design of the case is very functional and light weight. It holds the iPad in place without fear of it falling out. 

The palm rest and leather strap are very comfortable and the additional stand clip adds to the functionality. 

I can see this being used in many ways for example if you are Teaching, Inventory, Recording information, Note taking, etc.

 The only concern i have is that you have No protection of the screen if dropped. You can purchase and aftermarket screen protector but that will not protect from impact. 

Overall the design is great the strap is very comfortable and the overall weight of the iPad is not impacted by the case. I am using this now at work with my iPad and have used it several times in Network Closets. A Great Product Again by New Trent.

New Trent Arcadia 2pcs Clickpen Stylus/Styli with Micro-Knit Tip for Capacitive Touch Screen Smartphones and Tablets. (TwinPack: Black + White)

 The NT63T Stylus is a great addition to my Tech Bag. I love the fact that you can retract the tip to keep it from being damaged. 

The clip on the pen seems a little unnecessary to me because I just put the stylus in my bag with my iPad. The stylus is a good fit and length for working on my iPad. It however is not very accurate for writing notes. 

I use this more for skimming through pages on the iPad or for quick little notes anything more detailed would require a finer point like a pencil. I give this a 4 STAR for usability but would prefer a finer point for writing.

This case is Excellent!!! I love the clear body so you can see the iPhone 6 design while keeping with the protection of the phone. This case is extremely durable and protects the entire phone. I have dropped my phone while in this case and no damage was done. I Highly recommend for anyone looking for something different in a smart phone case.

JAM Rewind Wireless Speaker (Grey) HX-P540GY 

My first impression when seeing this was what a great gimmick, looks like a Cassette Tape and it even comes in a hard clear plastic packaging. However when I opened to setup with my iPhone the sound that comes out of this device is Amazing!! Powering on you hear the Bass and Treble of the speakers clear and crisp. The female voice letting you know that the power is on is fun and amusing. Syncing to Bluetooth was easier than sinking to my car. Even when you use it several times, as soon as you power on the speaker it will search for you phone and sync automatically. The sound playing any type of music is Amazing!! The deep base the clear voice makes this speaker in my book the closest thing to a Bose system and a quarter of the cost. I HIGHLY recommend to anyone looking for a Bluetooth speaker with great sound and easily portable.
